What a blessed 9 months!

Before I would say anything I want to THANK YOU all who have been keeping my team and myself in your prayers in this journey we have started last year in September.

I really mean it when I am telling you that I belive the Lord has used your prayers and financial support to bles this year extremly, abundantly more than I could have ever imagined!

Thank you so much for being part of this ministry through your prayers , encourahgements, keping in touch with me, being interested in what was happening down in Mexico, supporting me financially as well. With the Lord's help we did it my freinds! How cool!!!

These past nine months have been the hardest months in my life. I know though that the Lord allowed this so that he could teach me some huge , great lessons. Without the hard times, the trials and moments when I have seen who the "old Timi" really is, I would have not been able to see and learn who I really am IN CHRIST!!!! Then to embrace and to enjoy who I am in Him and the freedom He gives all of us His children!

I could go on and on sharing many of the lessons the Lord thought me, but since it would take your whole day to read it:0) I just decided to share with you the greatest one. I learned that the greatest thing in God's Kingdom here on Earth is loving one another! Not that did not know this before, but I am so thankful to our Father that now it really sticked:0)

It sticked that it does not matter what denomination we are, what our religious background is,the most important thing in the eyes of our Lord is to love one another just as He loves us!!!! And that is BIG! And not easy! But it is POSSIBLE!!!! Because He is there to help us!!! Ahw, it is soooooooooo exciting, isn't it?!!

Now you see why I am so thankful for lal you prayres? Alone I would have not been able to learn this and oh my, so many other things! And as I am moving on with my life into another stage, joining Word of Life Hungary as full time missionary, I would like to ask you to keep praying for me!

HAPPY MOTHERS's DAY!!!

Dear MOMs!

This morning I went out to the ocean to see the surise. And the first thing that came into my mind when I saw the sky was

Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands"

Then I remembered that it was Mothers' Day in the United States today. As my greatest desire is to become a mom one day myself for many kids:0), I thought about this: I want to live my life in such a way that when that day comes the Lord willing, the Timi translation Bible :0) would say:

"The Moms declare the glory of God, Mothers proclaim the work of His hands!"

All this to say that I am so thankful to the Lord for this great job that He created: to be a MOM!!! And I am so greatful that he has blessed many of you to be Moms and proclaim in this way His greatness, glory to this generation!

I am praying for you who read this and are Moms:0)! I pray that the Lord wold bless this day for you greatly, and you would see His love in an extra special way today! I also pray that as you continue yor everyday life with Him, you would turn to Him being your source of joy, love, strenght and everything you need!

Prayer request for Carol and George!

Carol and George are a sweet couple from Roan Mountain, Tennessee. They have one daughter, Stephanie and two beautiful granddaughters. I met them a few times while I was staying with my friend Trisha, next door in Roan Mountain where they live.

They are sooo nice, so nice! You know, one of those people that you meet once and you go like: " Wow, they are so nice and kind! "

The sad thing though is that George has cancer. For a while now he has been in the hospital for treatments. I don't know in what stage his cancer is, but what is even more sad, is that he does not know the Lord as his personal Savior:0(. Eighter does his wife , Carol.

Trisha and myself as well we have tried to witness to them , tell them about Jesus, but they always turned the conversation to something else. But we have decided that no mater what, we will not give up on praying for them, cause the Lord doesn't eighter.

When I left TN to come to Mexico, at that time Stephanie, their daughter did not want to know anything about God.

But here comes the good news!!! The Lord is so great!!!

I talked with Trisha on the phone yesterday and found out that Stephanie tarted to read her Bible due to her dead's situation, to look for comfort somewhere. She stopped by at Trisha's house to tell her that reading her Bible and going to church with her husband and two little daughters, has been the greatest experience so far in her life.

We don't know what has realy happened in her heart, but praise to the Lord's grace, goodness, and greatness, she is determined now to share with her dad next time she visits him about what God has done through Jesus for her and her parents as well. Isn't this awesome!!!???

According to what she said to Trisha, she is concerned mainly about her mom, Carol's reaction when she will tell them about God, not so much her dad. But she is so eager now to share our Father's love with her father! She said that she does not want him to die and go to hell. Wow! That just gives me chills!!! It is so mazing how the Lord works!!!!

So, please please join with me in prayers for this family!!!! God definitely is able to work miracles if He chooses to! Pray that George would be healed not only physicly but as well spiritually and that Carol would have an open heart to listen and receive what God has to share with her through Stephanie!

Thank you very very much!!! And I will definitly get back to you as soon as I find out any news about them!

Hard to say good bye

Hello, hello! :-)

Well, our time is little by little coming to the end here...sad in a way cause this whole good bye process had alread started this past week. And ahw...it is so interesting to experience this love/hate thing as I am so excited about what the Lord has for me for the fututre at Word of Life, but on the other hand it will be hard to leave these people here....

Right now I would just like to ask you to keep us in your prayres as we are finishing up, visiting our mexican friends for the last time this coming week. Please pray that we would be intentional in saying good bye to them.

Also pray as our team is going to South Padre Island in Texas the coming weekend for debrief. It is so neat to already see some fruits of our ministry in the mexican people's lives as well in ours. ( I will share more about this soon!) Praise be to the Lord for this and for the fruits and blessing we will see in Heaven!!! :0)

And the Lord is , definitely is working in soooo many different ways in each of our lives as we come to closure of this time! It is such a blessing to experince this! Just please pray that all of us would be open to let Him do what he has to do in our heart!

A flower bouquet

What comes in your mind when you think of a bouquet of flowers?

Last week Dick and Sue Elley ( on the picture abowe with our mexican friend, Kata) came down to Matamoros from Georgia to teach our group about worship. We had a great week, learned a lot about how worshipping the Lord basicly should be our lifestyle. They got the chance to come with our team to visit some of the mexican families we are friends with.

Since Kata, this lady on the picture abowe was so nice and hospitable with us, the second time we went to visit her while they were here, Dick felt the Lord leading Him to bring her a gift. Not and ordinary gift though:0). A bouquet of flowers.

When we gave it to Kata, she had a huge bright smile on her face, with these words:" No one ever gave me flowers before".

Wow!!! I was so touched.... Now, Kata is in her 50's, can you imagine that???

It was just so encouraging from the Lord to never ever underestimate little random acts of kindness and love He puts on our hearts, cause we never know how does that touch others!!!

So, I challenge you all as myself as well, to look for opportunities to minister to each other, love on one another just as the Lord Jesus shows His love to us!

I really have to tell you guys this!!! I am sure this will be an encouragement to all of you :-)

Just a few houres ago my little team ( consisting of Jeanne and I:0) ) came back from visiting one of the mexican families we usually visit like two time a week. This time we had two visitors with us from Ohio. At the end of our visit with the family the lady started telling them how appreciative she was of us visiting her and her family, because we love them so much...Hm...these were her words:

" These girls love us so much! They dont care if it is muddy or rainy, or hot out, they come all the time to visit, to hang out and help us, and that means so much to us. We love them so much..."

I just stood there with tears in my eyes...tears of thankfulness and praise to our Father for working in such powerful ways down here...Little things we might think that do not mean anything, yes indeed mean sooooooooo much to these people.

So, yeah...:0) isn't this awesome??!!

A time for everything

...says Eccl.3:1.

Well, yesterday as I was laying in bad taking advantage of the looong extra houres I had with the Lord because of having a stomach bug, I was just smiling as I thought about this verse.

When I heared missionaries talking before about their experiences in the different countires they have been, every single one of them mentioned of some kind of sickness, diseas they got. Hm, I thought I have not yet been sick since I am here in Mexico, how cool that is. Though I kinda wanted to have that experience to be quite honest with you :0)

Then on Saturday night at 1:20 (AM) I think the Lord thought: " Okey Timi, this is the time for that wish to become true:0) " Oh, if I would just know what I was wishing for...severe diarreah ( sorry I do not mean to gross you out) bad headache, on and on feelings of vomiting, no balance at all. Praise God, today I feel completly well, but oh that Sunday!!!!!:-)

As it turned out yesterday, one of the girls from my team got some parazytes and an infection in her intestines, then another girl as well as myself got hit by it:0) Yuyks!

We are all feeling better now thankfully. Just thought to share with you my experience of having the sickest day of my life 2 days ago. So, better be prepared if you are planning on ministering in a different country! :0)

But I really praised God for the rest He gave me through this time, as well as for the extra time I could have with Him, and the fellowship with Tamara and Jenny ( the two other sick girls).

Hey :0)! How are you all doing?

Knowing that you are praying not only for me personally but for my team mates as well, this time I thought to ask one of my Friends from the team, Jill, to share what the Lord taught her so far on this trip. Hope and pray that her words will be a huge blessing for you ! ( You can see her next to me on this picture below)

My name is Jill Andre, and I have been a fellow missionary of Timi's for more than six months here in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. When Timi asked me to blog about how God has impacted my life so far on this trip, I felt very honored. This summary won't even come near to describing how Jesus has worked in my life this past year. In fact, it would take a very long e-mail. So I will try to sum up his work.

The first semester involved a lot of submitting myself to the Lord and asking him to give me an other-minded perspective and passion for what he wanted me to do.

A lot of my focus changed because of the prison ministry I chose to do with Timi. These women in Matamoros are both in a literal and figurative prison because of the stronghold Satan has on their lives, whether it's drug addiction, alcoholism, fear, anger, depression or death worship through a cult called Santa Muerte. When we are living in a Christian community in our church and friendship circles, we often forget how many people need Jesus and how great the need is for carriers of the good news. My own prison that I was incarcerating myself into instead of living as the new creation I am (2 Corinthians 5:17) was suddenly spotlighted. I am free! Why not live that way? From the beginning of this year until now, God has brought me back to the childhood I lost through my parents' divorce and other childhood trials. He has helped me start over, in a sense -- not without difficult times, of course -- bringing me toward truth regarding my worth as his child and reassuring me of my salvation and the good works he is doing in me. At one point, through a healing prayer session, he even called me "Jilly" through one of the women praying. That's a name I haven't heard since I was seven.

Most importantly, God has taught me how much he loves me, nay, is enamored with me. I have never really had an emotionally affirming and consistently uplifting father figure in my life, so that void of male attention in my life is being filled by his immense love for me -- the only love that will never, ever fail me and the only love that can save me. The only love that we truly all need. Any day that I feel that is a good day no matter what happens.

Finally, I have been learning to abandon the importance I put in other's opinions of me for my Father's opinion, for his love. God has begun to show me, now that I am here, how much I am a conquerer because of his love, and as a result he is empowering with a passion to share that knowledge with others.

Thank you all for reading this not-so-short-after-all story. My greatest hope is that you would all know through it how powerful God is. That's why I am here.

So...:0) if we continue like this for the rest of our time down here in Mexico, I think by the time I go back to Hungary I will be able to build my own house!!! Hahah :0) This coming week my team is going to build another house - this time we will actually be the construction experts, not only facilitating and leading a construction team. Pretty exciting!

All that said to start sharing you about this past week that has been such a such a huge blessing from the Lord for me personally!

Building houses, doing VBS, sports ministry, living water ministry, medical care center, house visits, praying for people, cleaning stores, washing people's cars, meeting basic needs, physical as well as spiritual needs

All the above listed activities have been used as great tools to share the great love of Christ, the message of the cross this past 5 days.

It has been such a great blessing and encouragement to see the Lord at work! To see how had been blessing the willingness of a bunch of teenagers with awesome fruits bringing glory to Him: mexicans coming to a knowledge of saving faith only in Christ, others being encouraged, hearts, lives being changed, relationships built, basic needs met and ahw, I could just go on and on...

My responsibility was to be the ministry leader of one of the construction sight's. This ment to walk around the neighborhood and make sure all the above listed activities were going smooth, filling in if there was any kind of need, like helping with construction, translating, looking for opportunities to minister to the mexicans, facilitating thos eministries to the 20 groups that were in my team. They all were great, including their leaders! I thank the Lord for the change in these teens lives I could notice in just a few days, as they took the time to spend it with the Lord to see what His agenda was for them for the day and not their own. I loved ministering to these american teens and got to see how much they still have such a special place in my heart.

I am so thankful to the Lord for this, as well for you guys too for praying for this time! Thank you , and look forward to hear about my next construction experience! :0)Me too am looking forward to hear from you, about you! And please, please if you have anything I can pray for you, let me know! I would love to!

Preparations for Johnson Fairy project

Cleaning dorms and bathrooms, putting bed pieces together, mowing the grass, setting up a huge tent, washing coolers, setting the sound system,driving back and forth to Texas for buying groceries, (tons of them:0), for 300 people), being trained to be more affective leaders and ministry coaches-all these fun stuff were happening this past week.

It has been so great getting ready for the upcoming project!!! There are around 300 people from Mariotta, GA coming in tomorrow with hearts ready to serve the Lord! To serve Him building houses, through VBSs, sports ministries, medical clinique, random acts of kindness outreaches, and whatever the Lord has for the for the next week!

Please be in prayer with me for a week that would glorify our Father in everything, and through everything we do, as well as for many lives changed by the end of this short term mission trip!

Thank you! And I will definitely keep you posted on what is happening. Be encouraged daily with Psalm 68:19!

Future plans

I can hardly believe that in one month and a half my time here in Mexico is up.

It has been such an awesome seven months so far, that I think it would take me a whole webpage :0) to talk about it! The Lord has blessed my time here and thaught me lessons that I would not trade with anything else, even though had to take me through some hard trials to teach me! And for this, lots of lots of thanks to YOU all too for your faithful prayers for me.

Being involved in prison ministryI have learned how my heart burdens for women who not only they are not free in the sense of being inprisoned, but as well don't know about the freedom in Christ. Another big lesson for me was to never ever say "I don't know how to do it" if I have not prayed about it and not try to do it before. I am talking about drama:0)

I would have never ever thought that I would be so excited to be involved in drama / drime outreaches. But the Lord showed me that he can do amazing thigs in a person's heart-my heart, if I let Him and if I surrender it all to HIM!

When I started praying about what to do next, God kept bringing the thought of going back to Word of Life Hungary. Hm....it is such a long and precious work of the Lord's in me , how He worked it out first of all in my heart then through circumstances for me to have the opportunity to join Word of Life Hungary's ministries from September 2008.

I would be more then happy to hare it with you details, how the Lord humbeled me, showed me how my pride blinded me..ahw...just ask! :0)

So yeah....just thought to share with you briefly about my future plans, as well to continue to pray for our short time here to touch even more lives, and for my these plans, that would bring the greatest glory to our Father!!!!

"Dental care" experince in Mexico

It all started back in December, '07 when I was on winter brake in Romania.

I noticed that the right side of my face got swollen. I thought that my gums got infected because of flossing. But did not think that it was such a big deal, cause in a week it got better. But then as I came back to Mexico it happened again, and my gums got swollen again off and on. Since we had such a busy schedule and things got kinda crazy here with us moving and everything I did not want my leaders be burdened with another problem, so did not say anything.

Two weeks ago though, I had to ask them to take me to the doctor, cause it got so painful. Who would have thought that Mexico has such a dental care, like the one on the picture, right?:0)

On my first visit the doctor said I needed to be back right in two days and they had to extract a tooth that caused my face to be swollen. They said that due to a poorly done rooth canal, my tooth got so infected that the best thing was extracting it. They worked on it one houre, cause my tooth was so stubborn, did not want to cooperate!:0) The pain...oh my! I do not wish this for anyone!!! Then they stiched it for a week. Yayks!

Going back for a checkup, I found out that even though the place of the extraction got better, there was a pretty bad infection still, kinda like a nod. So they made another appointment for me planning to have a surgery, to cut off that infected nod.

Wow...hearing this, like never, got on my knees and prayed that the Lord would do a miracle that they would not need to have that surgery. I am so thankful to the Lord for reminding me that yes indeed HE IS ABLE to do this, to heal or to do a miracle if it is His will and for His glory, and just wants me to trust in Him being in control. On this past Saturday when I was sitting in that chair :0), waiting for the specialist to come,by that time I already had such a peace knowing that whatever will happen, it will be the best! Because I have my Father on my side!

Well, guess what?:0) When the doctor checked m tooth, his first words were:" Oh, we do not have to do the surgery cause the nod got smaler and with some antibiotics we can make it dissapear in a couple of weeks. Doing the surgery would make more damage..."

I just screamed YES!! THIS IS WHY I PRAYED FOR!! He was just laughing...but praise to God for giving me an opportunity to share about Him through this situation to the doctors and assitants that were waiting to perform the surgery on my face:0)

"What is the CROSS?"

I was very humbled...very much...but so thankful for this!!!

About 2 weeks ago we helped with a medical center project. While the parents had their appointments with the doctors who came from PA, we basicly babysat:0)

These 2 kids, for about 30 minutes just did not want to open up, to loosen up, no matter how goofy I tried to be. They were so quite, I don"t even know their names. They would not answer me. Hm, I thought, this will be very interesting....So I just started calling the little boy Conehito ( which means little rabbit) since he was vearing this outfit, and just continued to smile to the babygirl.

As we were playing there at the playgroud, Conehito found a cross made out of paper. He brought it to me and asked me what that was.

Well, my first thought was "Cool, what a great opportunity to share about the cross and Jesus to them!" But then I was like " Right, to these kids who did not say a word to me, who did not seem to be interested in me..." So I just said, " well, it is a cross" without even thinking to continue the conversation.

The Lord had other plans though. First and foremost to humble me right as the little boy has asked me "What is the cross?"

Just in that moment I have realized how judgmental I was, how I underastemated the power of the CROSS with having that stupid mindset. Praise be to the Lord for his forgiveness and being the God os second chances!!!

I could share the Gospel with these 2 little kids, without them interrupting and of course as soon as I finished the message of the CROSS, their mom showed up and they had to go:0)

It was awesome to be reminded again that it is not about me , but about the CROSS, but it is up to me to share it! There is an opportuinity in ever situation to share the message about the CROSS, may that it be in words or through my actions.

Think about how YOU could share today what the CROSS is (about)!

God's sense of humor is just so fun and awesome, isn't it? So, no wonder , I thought yesterday, that sometimes funny things happen in ministry as well...

I am sure all of you have been in a situation when something you have listened to was supposed to be very serious stuff, but it turned out to be a big laughter :0) Well, yesterday we went to see the "Passion of Christ" play in Harlingen, Tx. It was performed by pople from one of the Assembly of God' churches, a bylingual church ( English & Spanish )

They have started out the play with Palm Sunday, when Jesus on a donkey was supposed to go to Jerusalem:-) Well,as you see on this picture,the donkey yes indeed was there, but had other plans....

These were the words of the narrator when the donkey decided to take the other turn than the one was "leading to Jerusalem". Of course everyone bursted out laughing....

Then, at the scene when Judas was about to hung himself, the narrator accidentaly said "Jesus went and hung himself". But in a matter of seconds he realized he said the wrong name and corrected himself, addig: " Just checking!:-)"

Laughter again....:0)

But the here comes the scene of Jesus on the cross:

I think he wanted to say that Jesus was executed, but oh well, accidents happen! :-)The narrator says: "Jesus is expired"

Aren't you glad that He is never ever gonna be expired! This thought made my day yesterday! And just thought to share with you too hoping that al you have just read will bring a smile on your face as well as make you be soooooooooooooooo thankful to our Father for the donkey taking the right turn in God' plan and Jesus not hanging Himself up.

Shades Mountain Project

First of all thanks so much for your prayers for yesterday night's movie . The Lord indeed blessed us with great weather and so we could show the Passion of Christ on a big screen at the corner of a fairly busy street. ( I wish I would hve taken some pics, but as the movie was spo owerwhelming for everyone, I just did not feel liek it was a time for picture taking)

We don't know for sure th number of the mexicans that showed up, or the cars that have passed by during the time the movie was shown, but there were quite a few. My prayer is that those who watched the movie, or at least saw one second passing by, those would be reminded of this awesome and mighty name, JESUS! The rest is in our Father's hands:0)

And thank you too for praying for this!

But I do want you to see just one glimpse of the Shades Mountain Baptis Church's youth ( highschool) impressive work this past 4 days:

This is the house they have started to build on Monday for a mexican family who did not have one, only the property. Then today we dedicated the house to the Lord, for the amazing ways He has made this happen as well as opened up oportunitites to talk to people and to share about Jesus throughout these past 4 days.

PRAISE BE TO THE LORD FOR THIS AND THANK YOU TOO FOR YOUR PRAYRES!

On Sunday morning my team came back to the Gateway ( for those who don't know what this is, is one of Adventures in Missions's base in Matamoros) to lead a project in constructions and outreach.

A team of apr.54 high school students came from Shade Mountain Baptist Church , Birmingham Alabama to build two houses in 4 days, plus to do VBS (Vacation Bible School), street evangelism, different outreaches, like hot dog feeding at the local hospital, showing the Passion of Christ movie tomorrow downtown on a big screen if the Lord wills in this way too:-)

These teens, oh my! They have the greatest excitement I have ever seen in teenagers! We have a worship/debrief time every evening when everyone gets the opportunity to share how they got to be Jesus for someone, how the Lord touched them throughout the day.It just blows my mind seeing how american youth too can be sooooo passionate for our Father! My heart definitely goes out for americans and seeing this group's joy, openness and care for the mexicans, for doing everything for the Lord is such a huge huge blessing to me!

They were sharing how even though many of them do not speak Spanish, God reminded them through these 3 past days how just a smile, a hug, a soccer game can make such a big difference in someone's life. That reminded me of St.Augustine's words that challenge us to share the Gospel all the time and use words only if necessary.

I will edit some photoes later on this week so that you too can see these sweet faces, who just make me jump for joy, praise the Lord for their hearts.

For now please please pray if you get to read this before tomorrow 6 PM, so that the Lord would give us great weather, and many people would come to see the movie Passion of Christ and be touched in a mighty way! I am sooo excited!! And will get back to you later!

"Las cosas que pasan en nuestros vidas..."

"Piensoque las cosas que pasan en nuestras vidas ne ayudan crescer en nuestra fe" this means: " I think that whatever happens in our lives help us grow in our faith" were the words of one of our Mexican friend, Martha.

This lady, who is 48, is such a cheerful lady every time we go see her. She is a believer for about 12 years, the only one though in her family. Even though she trusts God, believes Him and in Him, she still never had to do anything with other believers, never attended church. She says that she met the Lord when her daughter got paralized at the age of 11. She shared with us how she cried out to our Father on the side of her daughter, Alejandra's bed, asking God to heal her, with the hope of maybe one day she will get another kiss from her. Promised Him in the same time that if He does heal Alejandra, then she will change, surrendering her life completely to Him.

Tears rolled down on my face as she was telling us that in that same moment when she was crying out to God, her no longer paralized daughter got up and blew a kiss to her. I have tears in my eyes even now as I am sharing this with you, thinking about how our Lord touched Martha in such a special, but personal way. Isn't this so awesome?!!

Martha's parents, husband, daughter and son, their families don't know the Lord, are not even interested in getting to know Him. In spite of all these she is in such good spirits all the timeJ

Today though,-well, we have not seen her for about a month-we could tell that something was wrong. Not that people have to smile all the time, oh not at allJ But you know how Prov. 15:13 says that a happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit

Guys!!! I don't even know how it happened, but all glory and praise to our Loving Father, for Martha just started pouring out her heart to us. A heart that actually was filled with lots of aching, pain, sadness, trying to recall those times when the Lord has shown Himself real and faithful to her in a personal way.

She said that what she was about to share with us has been a huge burden on her heart for four months now, but could not talk to anyone about it. For some reason she felt comfortable sharing her burden with us, that I believe with all my heart happened because of Jesus's presence among us.

For two whole houres Martha told us about her shame and pain because of what her father did back in December, that made her loose all her confidence and trust in him, ruin everything that has been built up over the many years. She never said what he did, and we did not think it was appropriate to ask her yet. But it is obviously a very sad and painful thing for her, something that gives such a hard time to Martha now to even look at her father, to talk to him. She never told anybody about this. She does not want her family to suffer and brake up because of it, and does not want her father to experience the same attitude from other family members that he is experiencing from her. Seeing her crying crying and crying as she was telling us this, the Holy Spirit moved me to step closer to her, put my arms around her and to pray for her. It was one of those "God moments"J, but this time one that I have never ever experienced before.

I am so thankful to Him for this. And one of the reasons I have shared this with you so detailed is because I thank you too for your prayers that make this ministry be so blessed. Please pray for Martha that through this all she would come out saying not only that " I think whatever happens in our lives help us grow in our faith" but that " I BELIVE that whatever happens.."

HEAVEN and earth

We use a saying in Hungarian when we want to describe two things that look just absolutely the opposite from each other. It goes like this:

" It's heaven and earth"

When I looked at these two pictures - our old place we stayed (first picture) and our new house and neighborhood (the second) this saying popped in my head right away. Don't you agree with me on this? It is such a big big praise on a daily basis for our team and for me personally too this blessing of the Lord's. THANK YOU FATHER!:-)

No more mud:0), no more daily disturbing loud music , dogs everywhere chasing you, no more roaches and ants in our rooms nor crabs walking around , no fear of having to walk outside in the middle of the night if you happened to need to use the toilet and I could go on and onI mean, we even have a guard at nights. The Lord is just so awesome!

This past week we finally got settled down in our new house, praise God, and got back to our normal schedule. It is cool, cause there is not a lot of changes concerning our circumastances. So it was soo good to go back and visit some families we are friends with in our old colonia ( neighborhood) and the sorrounding areas. It was a huge blessing seeing their joy to see us again as well as going back to our internships ( the prison for me) and spend time with the people there.

But as I was walking around in our new neighborhood, something hit me right in my heart. See those houses on the picture? Even my american teammates have told me that not even their house at home is as nice as these houses down here. Well, that is something! Then the Lord reminded me of Jesus' words in Mark10:23

"HOW HARD IT IS FOR THE RICH TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD"

And you know, so far we did not have the chance to minister to rich mexicans, since AIM's primary goal is to reach out to the poor. But now it definitely looks like the Lord is giving us opportunities to reach out to the rich as well. No wonder, since He Himself said that it is so hard for them to enter His Kingdom.

So, I would like to ask you to pray pray pray hard for open doors, softened hearts in our neighborhood. It is definitely harder! As we walked around in little groups on Sunday morning you could sense that these people were a lot more reserved, closed up as the poor society.

Sad, but what an opportunity to rely on the Lord's mighty power that can move the mountains,Who is mighty to save!!! We serve a powerful God friends! Thank you for praying, in this way serving together with me here in Matamoros! I really appreciate it!

Oh!!!

The Lord is so good!!! Today we have moved all of our stuff from the old place we lived in into our new house . But what a house!!! It is such a tremendious gift from God. And when we saw this place I was like...Oh my!!! Everyone has to see this and praise Him for this! Something like this does not come from anyone else but our Father who loves us soooo much!!!!!

But then the internet was working so slow that I could not send the pictures as attachements either post them on the blog:-( Have tried and tried, but nothing...I was asking God to just let me post one picture of the house so that it would be a praise for you all too seeing it:0)....but for almost the whole evening it seemed that the Lord's answer to this was "WAIT". And then all of the sudden, now I already have 2 pictures of the house!!! Praise be to Him for this! Wow! So, please take a look on my photo list to see it!

And then since we move from the Gateway into the house, I will probably not have internet access as often as I had it this past week, but I will definitely try my best to keep you posted at least one a week about what the Lord does down here:-)

I read a Psalm each day. It's so awesome! So encouraging, and helps me to delight in the Lord constantly as i am getting to know Him more through the Psalms, Who He is, and how He works.

Lately, and this morning as well God spoke to me to be bold and share al those things He does in my life. Big, small, those things He blesses me with in such a personal level.

Psalm 75:1"WE GIVE THANKS TO YOU, O GOD, WE GIVE THANKS TO YOU! WE PROCLAIM HOW GREAT YOU ARE AND TELL OF THE WONDERFUL THINGS YOU HAVE DONE"

That is why I have decided to share one of the coolest things God touched my heart today in such a personal level.

Yesterday we were over to a friend's house to watch a movie and coked supper there. Oh prior to this I have to tell you that I am a huge coffee fan!:o)

I have noticed they had a certain coffee creamer flavour I have never tasted nor seen before. Pralines & creme . "Yummmy" I though, but since it was so late at night, there was no way we would make coffee. Deep down in my heart I was so much longing for trying this deliiously sounding flavour....but that was it. I mean we cannot have right away what we ar so much longing for right?:0)

Then this morning we went to church in Harlingen, Texas, to Harlingen Bible Church. (The Church service reminded me of the service back in my Church, danube Internationa in Budapest which was sucha huge blessing) We were still in the van when we found out that they have a coffee house during services, where people can just fellowship together, have a coffee and doughnuts. You should have seen the big smily faces as a reaction to this news!

First thing we do as we get out of the van, is of course, use the rest room and then the coffee house!!! Well, guess what kind of coffee creamer did they have??? YES, you all guessed it right! The praline creme!!!

I almost had tears in my eyes , tears of you as I was reminded by our Father through this how MUCH MUCH MUCH HE LOVES ME!!!!! And how His desire is to not ever withold any good thing from me!!! And how He communicates to me in such a personal level.....Oh Daddy, praise be to you for this, and please use this what I have just shared to touch those who read it to remind them of your amazing and awesome love....Sorry guys, I had to just stop for a second and talk to Him:0)

So yeah..it was so heart touching! And wanted to share with you this just to praise the Lord with sharing one of His awesome deeds He communicates in such creative ways daily.

"THE LORD HAS DETERMINED OUR PATH, HOW THEN CAN ANYONE UNDERSTAND THE DIRECTION HIS OWN LIFE IS TAKING..."

Proverbs 20:24. So true...

It is so awesome to think that nothing catches our Father by surprise. Even though He does put us in situations whe we have all those "Why?, I don't understand.."questions, He tells us :" You do not understand now what I am doing, but you will understand later" (John 13:7).

Our team, we had no idea when we came to Mexico that on the 23-rd of February, 2008 will be such a bittersweet day. It took us by surprise, that five of us left back to their homes in the States, out of their obedience to the Lord, even though this was not what they were expecting God to tell them to do.

It was such a great encouragement to see each one of my team members spending time with God , seeking Him, his direction, how He wanted to use this experience we went through personally in our lives. This is what Ifeoma, my little sister from the team:-) says: " My reason for leaving is because God told me.I feel like all my reasons for staying are all selfish. I feel like if I stayed here, I wouldn't be listening to God" She is 18 and she is one of the girls who left this morning with Laura and Jess, John and Matt. Hm....they are already dearly missed... But you know, what amazes me is that the JOY of the Lord overcomes every sadness if we trust Him using every circumstance for our own good as He has promised!

So, now just please pray that all of us who stayed we would grow closer to each other for the Lord's glory more then ever and just radiate His great love around the mexicans. Pray also for those who went home that they would continue to daily walk in the Lord faitfhully seeking His direction for their lives.

Gardening

Do you guys like gardening? Do you have a heart for flowers, plants, orchards, good stuff like that?

If yes, then here is an opportunity for you to join with me in prayer this whole coming week. Let me tell you why:o)

Our team's project this week with a team from Canada gardening. Building fences, planting different plants , trees, " building orchards" for the mexicans living in the neighborhood where AIM's other base -the Gateway - besides the FYM base is. This vision is a long term vision. All these trees and plants will provide not only food for the mexicans bellies:o), but spiritual nourishment as well as we will have the opporunity to spend a whole week with some mexican families who will open up to let us share Jesus's love with them.

So, please pray with us, for us. You can see the Gateway base on the picture on the left and some of the canadian ladies we will be working with. Thanks for praying for us , and will keep you posted on how our week goes!

One of the benefits with living together with Americans is that you get to know their culture better. This is not the greatest benefit though on my opinion:-) But that as you are getting more and more familiar with the language and get to know more words in English, it becomes such a great source of fun and felowship.

Let me just explain this a littlebit:-) Hungarian being my mother tongue, I am realizing more and more, how many words in other languages sound actually like a word in Hungarian. But something funny! (Sometimes though a bad word I have to admit it, so you got to watch out:-0))

But I just want to point out a specific word in English.

LOAFING!

This word makes the whole team laugh every time we use this word and think about what it means in Hungarian.

LO FING-is the word in Hungarian that sounds like the word LOAFING in English. And I just hope you will laugh with me:-0) as you learn now that this word means horse fart in Hungarian. Well, just thought to share this with you, hoping to bring a little laughter in your day!

Oh our beautiful, beautiful Hungarian language! :-) Lol

Romans 8:28-29

"Even though sometimes your circumstances might not encourage you to have a positive perspective on things, you have to remember that I am good and will work everything for your best"- I was reminded this morning during my time with the Lord.

Not only of this though, but that just as He bestows grace and unconditional love on me every moment of my life, that is how He wants me to treat others too, NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!

And the third thing God reminded me was that SIN IS SIN, and there is no such as little sin and big sin in His eyes.Wow, that is something, no? I told myself: "Timi, to compare sin to sin, that is stupid...."

Our FYM leader failed God immorally. We are not exactly sure of all the details yet, but know enough that he is not a leader of the AIM's ministry any more. Sad...but still we have to remember that the Lord is the one who is in control. Please pray for the whole team, that everyone would remember this every minute of the day when Satan would try to bring those stupid thoughts......

Pray also please for direction and wisdom for our headquarter's leaders, as they are trying to figure out what will happen with our team . We know so far that we will have to move away from Matamoros, but there are lots of questions AIM's leaders need to think through and process through.

While praying for them, please pray for our leader and his family for healing and that they would experience the Lord's love in a way they never experienced before. I do believ there is NOTHING, and that is NOTHING impossible for our mighty God!

Pray also please for each individual from our team as we are praying about what to do about the 3 more months that are still left of our entire time here.

Saturday's ministry at the prison...

.....went absolutely great on my opinion, even though not many people wanted to talk about what they have heared after the program.

We presented or 2 dramas, one is " In the light" ( Fernando Ortega's song) and the other one "Silence" ( U2's song), and shared 2 testimonies. The 2 people who shared their testimonies were a guy, Matt fro our team and the other one was....me!

I do believe, seriously do, that the Lord used your prayers to work on my heart and make me volounteer to share my testimony. I am not a person who likes to stand up front and talk to a group of people, I like personal conversations better, but this time it was definitely the Lord who lead me to do this. And even more! First I was scared to do my testimony in Spanish, because of the gramer mistakes that I do pretty often:-) but you know, when the Holy Spirit leads you to do something, yo beter just obey Him TRUSTING!!!

Knowing that the Lord has promised to give us words at the time when we have to speak if we rely on Him, I worked on my testimony a little bit, in Spanih but because of the lack of much time for this, I really had to rely o the Lord for the words.

Praising God for what He did!!! Diarreah in the morning:-), like crazy and I am sure you know what I am talking about:-), but when I stood there i front of those women ( you see them on the pictres below) I just could not think of anything else that these women need to hear what God did for them!!!

And the Lord is so cool, because on that morning in my quiet time I was reading from Psalm 69, and in my translation, in Spanish, verse 33 sais that " The Lord does not forget those who are in prison" . So i used this verse too including at the end of my testimony, hoping and praying that some of them will maybe remember it......

Prison Ministry in Matamoros

Remember when I was telling you that we could not take a camera into the prison, only if it was a special occasion? Well, I have heared from the guards that actually if we talk to the director of the prison and tell him why we want to take in the camera there might be a chance for it. So, last week on Wednesday I went and talked to the director, and he allowed me take in my camera with a lady body guard thoughJ It was so much fun!

On this picture you see the inside of the women's side, as we enter their side.

She came with me and for like 15 minutes very helpfully followed me, made me a favor taking pictures of me and my friends there. You should have see their faces, how happy they were that they have their pictures taken. So , I printed some of the pictures and took them yesterday.

Wow! It just touches my heart so much to see that a little thing like this means so much to them, and makes them so happy( Soon I will post more pictures!)..But there is so much junk going on in there! The devil definitely is at work inside. They do drogs right there in front of you, the ladies are lesbians, almost every one of them as sad as it sounds, men gay, stealing from each other, fighting all the time. Every time we go we remind each other that no mater wat we are going to see or hear inside, we have to remember that Jesus already defeted the devil and we are more then conquerors in Him! And it is so amazing to see how the Lord opens up doors for us to share Him and to show love to those people.For example , this coming week there will be a group coming to Matamoros from Canada, and they offered to help with any needs that we noticed in our ministries. So in this way we can help this girl, Mari and her little 4 months old daughter, Gendy with some baby stuff, diapers and such. The Lord definitely cares about them. And not only their physical needs, but also their spiritual needs, so He opened up an opportunity for the whole group to go in the prison and do an evangelistic outreach on Saturday! Isn't this cool? We are going to present two drimes, share several testimonies, sing songs of course ultimately our main purpose being to share the Good news of Jesus Christ. I am so much looking forward ad soo excited!

As the Lord brings you this ministry in your minds especially in the next few days, please pray for hearts to be softened and lives to be changed as they will hear and see Jesus through our lives!Thank you very much and will share next week about our ministry on Saturday.
