I don’t consider myself a good speaker when it comes to talk in front a bigger group. I really don’t. One by one conversation, that I love, but “oh no!” 🙂 is my reaction when I have to stand up in front of a group.

And you all know how great sense of a humor the Lord has:-)! this past Sunday, on the 15-th god surprised me with an opportunity to speak about going to Mexico at Danube International Church in Budapest, Hungary. I have been attending this Church for 2 years now. With a group of Word of Life students we had Sunday School ministry there  for 2 years. Danube International is the first church actually that supports me! PTL!!!The warmth of the people who go there made me really feel just like home there. (For this I am so so so grateful for all of you guys!!!)
But, big “OH NO!”:-) was my reaction when Pastor Ronnie Stevens called me up front.
So, I thought, you know what Lord, I will just share what is on my heart about this Ministry with AIM, and You do the rest! And he did the rest!
It was such a blessed time afterwards to talk to people, share more about how God lead me to Mexico, and see Him how he worked in peoples hearts to commit themselves to give to His work.

THANK YOU SO MUCH GOD!!! May all the glory be yours and may this  experience be an encouragement for many as they read this blog!

  1. Timi,

It is amazing to hear how God gives us opportunities to share and bless others. You have been an amazing blessing to me. I am proud of you for giving your testimony. You are so right about His sense of humor 🙂 Thank you for being my prayer warrior, sweet sister. Remember, your prayers are with me daily and can’t wait to see you in August or September. Love ya~

  2. God sure does love to drop us in situations that we’re not comfortable with, eh? My situation is paperwork. I hate paperwork. I’m terrible with paperwork. I don’t get any of it. All the rules for filling it out and all the people that have to be contacted… It’s a good thing that there’s no paperwork that has to be completed for FYM… (Yes, that was sarcasm.)

God is good though, eh? He helped you with your public speaking and he will continue to help me with the paperwork.

    God bless ya!

  5. Timi,

Thanks a bunch for the encouragement and I, too, am so looking forward to serving by and meeting you and the others on our team. Looks like we were both stretched recently…I had to speak in front of a crowd, too. I am very familiar with the “oh no’s”! 🙂 As you say, He IS faithful. Thanks for sharing, Timi…see you soon!!!
