Being home in Romania over this past week to get a new ID card, a passport and set up for the american and mexican visa interviews, the Lord used this verse to encourage me and lift me up exactly when I needed this.
I have been praying that while I am home God would work out all these details, that I would get my ID card and passport in a miraculouse way in 2-3 days because of the limited time I had, also that I would have both of my interviews for the visas ( as a romanian citizen I need a visa to the US as well to Mexico).
🙂 well, God kinda had a little different plan than I did: usually it takes 2 weeks for the ID card to be done, but praise be to the Lord, they did it for me in 1 day, and the same has happned with the passport too. I thought, “Oh great, it seems that things are going so smooth and god is really at work”, when I found out that I could not have the interview for the mexican visa because of a certain paper the Mexican Embassy in Romania needs from the Instituto National de Migrations from Mexico:-( On the top of this, the next day when I called the American Embassy they have told me that the earliest date when I could have the interview for the visa is the 26-th of June. This means I have to come back to Romania in 10 days.
At Word Of Life Hungary summer camps start on the 17-th of June, so I am headed back to Hungary tomorrow. My responsibility at the camp is being the unit leader for the helpers group, and I thought it was not such a good idea to leave…
I did not really understand why God allowed this to happen, until as I was reading from His Word, He lead me read from Psalm 135. Through this verse: ” The Lord does whatever pleases Him…” God made me understand that it is not about me understanding, but about me trusting in His perfect plan. trusting in His control, Him seeing the big picture and because of that knowing exactly why He works in the way He does.
This whole situation actually gave me 4 extra days to spend with my family and friends, and what a blessing these days have been! Praising God for this!
So, if you are reading this, and wonder why the Lord allowed a certain situation in your life, remember: THE LORD DOES WHATEVER PLEASES HIM! And the outcome of that is always always for your benefit!!!!!
