Along getting trained in discipleship, doing reach outs on the weekends, having a so called WOW minstry (“Walk On Water”- something that we have never done before, I call it faith manifastation:-) ) and sometimes helping with constructions, each of us have an internship for the 9 months we are here.
The internships we could choose from, were teaching English, going to an orphanage, or a kindergarten, visiting at the hospital, or in a prison. I really prayed about what the Lord wanted me to do. And guess what? ๐ The prison ministry!!!
I AM SO EXCITED!!! We got the chance to visit already twice there this past week, and I am getting to love it more and more!
There are 3 of us girls who will be going twice weekly to visit the ladies there. Please pray for us as we are getting ready to plan out what to do, what to prepare for the ladies so that they would have lots of fun, see that we Christians are real people too and in the same way they would get to see the LOVE of Christ through our actions. Pray also that the ladies would have an open heart and many will eighter grow intheir faith and get to know God personally. Thank you for praying for this.
I will definitely keep you updated on how things go at the prison, how the Lord is working.
Thank you for rejoicing with me ๐
WOW!! I will anticipate hearing more about your adventure into prison ministry!! You are continually in my prayers…and still I pray that the Lord will provide for me to travel to TX to see you!!
: )
Hi Timi!
You are so good about asking the Lord what He would have you do. It would be so easy to minister to children. How exciting to work with the women in prison-you will make an impact they will never forget. We will pray for you and the other girls working with you!!!
Timi, I red your sentences. And before I finished the sentence, I knew that God led you to go to the prison ministry.
Praise Him!
And you are such a great example to ask Him all the time.
We miss you from here (WOL Hungary).
I look the place each morning where you sat during the whole summer in the mornings to talk to Him. But nobody is there.
I know you sit somewhere and you still talk to Him.
Thank you very very much for your encouragement, your example in this.
Gabor, CsiGa ๐
Timi!!! It’s so good to hear this. I really have some personal reasons why I love to hear about people involved in prison ministries. You can be such an encouragement to those ladies!! I’ll be praying for you. I sure do miss you here. I may be going to see Helen on the last weekend of November!!!
I will pray for you! It’s great to hear that you are hearing what God wants from you! He will have a plan for you to touch people in the prison in a personal way! Continue to listen to what He has to say!
